Sharon Pizzuti brings 18 years of Michigan Courts Experience with leadership expertise in human services. Her years at the Oakland County and Wayne County Friend of the Court as well as her leadership role in the Michigan Child Support Federal Certification implementation makes her a well known expert in Courts and Child Support. In 2005, Sharon joined Courtland Consulting to lead the implementation and evaluation of a federally-funded grant project aimed at fatherhood and marriage promotion. Now operational in Wayne County, Michigan, the Dads From Day One project focuses on the "front-end" process of child support enforcement, beginning with the birth of a child to low-income unwed parents. The project seeks to ensure that the necessary services are provided to both parents to enable them to better support the child and that the child support expectation is realistic. In addition to her Evaluation Manager role for Dads from Day One, she is a business expert for the Statewide Michigan Judicial Data Warehouse. She offers expert advice and strategy to the State Court Administrative Office during their project rollout. She is highly regarded for her ability to negotiate with Michigan agencies to share data and document their agreements. Sharon is the Project Director for the Federal Office of Child Support Demographic Survey project. She is responsible for working directly with IV-D Directors throughout the US to collect demographic child support data that will be analyzed and used by the Federal Office of Child Support to gain knowledge of their customer base and create future funding strategies. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University, and is a frequent presenter at Michigan Human Service related conferences. |
