Sharon Morelli, Lockport, was appointed in 2003. Sharon is a lifelong resident of Lockport, in Will County, is married with 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. She has been a real estate agent for 25 years and is a certified Illinois assessing officer. Currently she is the assessor for Lockport Township, elected in 1997. In 1990 she was elected to the Will County board where she served on the Land Use Committee and Criminal Justice Committee. She is a past commissioner of the Will County Forest Preserve, serving on the Finance Committee. Mrs. Morelli was appointed to the Will County States Attorneys Domestic Violence Commission in 1993 and the Will County States Attorneys Child Advocacy Advisory Board. She also was appointed to the Regional Public Transportation Task Force by the County Executive in 1993. |
