Sharon Berberich, Vice President for Commercial Development, is developing business opportunities and bringing additional revenues to Chlorogen by licensing the CTT technology into other plant biotechnology markets. In addition, she will in-license products, traits, and additional technologies important for Chlorogen's core business and licensees. She is responsible for managing the development of Chlorogen's products which includes timeline development, product concept, budgeting, allocation of resources, as well as quality assurance and regulatory strategy. Ms. Berberich graduated with a B.S. in agriculture and biochemistry from the University of Missouri - Columbia and spent two years in academic research before joining Monsanto Company in 1984. Her 18-year career at Monsanto included pharmaceutical research, plant biotechnology, product development, diagnostics, regulatory science, licensing and new business development. In her last assignment, she spent three years as a director with Monsanto's plant-made pharmaceutical business where she established the field production operations and developed product stewardship, public acceptance and regulatory strategies for approval of plant-made biopharmaceuticals. |
