Sharon L. Sullivan was named vice president of human resources global compensation and human resources for Lilly in October 2003. She is a member of the company’s senior management council. She had been chief learning officer and vice president of human resources since 2000.
Born in Hackensack New Jersey she received a bachelor of arts degree in economics and sociology from the University of Notre Dame in 1979 and a master of business administration degree from Indiana University in 1981.
Sullivan joined Lilly in 1981 as a sales representative for Elizabeth Arden a former Lilly subsidiary. She held various positions at Elizabeth Arden from 1982 to 1988. She then held positions in Lilly sales and marketing personnel and compensation development until 1993 when she was named director of personnel at Basingstoke in the United Kingdom. Returning to Indianapolis in 1995 she became director of compensation. In 1997 she was named executive director of human resources. Since 1997 she has held various positions within global human resources.
Sullivan currently serves as a president of the board of directors at Park Tudor School. |
