She joined GeneDx in 2007 with more than 25 years of experience in human genetics with emphasis on biochemical genetics. Before joining GeneDx she was an Associate Investigator at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) where her research focused on the study of the oculocerebrorenal syndrome of Lowe. Dr. Suchy previously was the Assistant Director of the Coriell Cell Repositories at the Coriell Institute for Medical Research, Camden, NJ and prior to that, the Director of the Prenatal Testing Program for Neural Tube Defects and Down Syndrome at the Greenwood Genetic Center, Greenwood, SC. She is a founding fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics with certification as a Ph.D. Medical Geneticist. Dr. Suchy received a B.S. from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA and a Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the Medical College of Virginia. |
