Shannon is a 21-year veteran of the advertising and design business. He founded mc2 Creative in 1992, a nationally acclaimed design studio. Shannon and Romer Galang (Creative Director) rebranded mc2 Creative into Cartis Group in 2001 to provide premium design and branding services to premiere clients such as Balfour, Whole Foods Market, USAA and Wayport. An active industry leader, Shannon has been published in several design, branding and advertising publications and is a frequent speaker at industry events. His work has been recognized by almost every industry publication such as HOW Magazine, PRINT, Adweek, Creative Arts and others. Shannon judges several advertising and design competitions per year and was recently honored as the 2005 Ad Man of the Year by the Austin Advertising Federation. A native Texan, Shannon is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and a highly competitive soccer player. He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, Mauri, and beautiful daughters, Shawn and Riley. |
