Signed to the Cardinals practice squad on 9/4/06 where he spent the first 15 games of the season before being elevated to the 53-man roster on 12/26/06. Originally signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2005 but was released prior to the start of the regular season. Signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers on 2/17/06 and allocated to NFL Europe.
2006: Signed by the Steelers on 2/17 and allocated to the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe; completed 100 of 185 passes for 1,139 yards and five touchdowns for Cologne became NFL Europe’s single-season record holder for rushing yards by a quarterback, totaling 339 yards and eclipsing previous record holder Jon Kitna by five yards also set the single-game rushing record for a quarterback in NFL Europe, rushing for 98 yards on 8 carries vs. Berlin released by the Steelers on 9/2 signed to the Cardinals practice squad on 9/4 and spent the first 15 games of the season there promoted to the 53-man roster on 12/26 and was inactive (3rd quarterback) @ SD (12/31).
2005: Signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Tennessee Titans on 4/29 released by the Titans on 8/29 and spent the rest of the year out of football.
College:
Played in 36 games while starting 16 for Kentucky also played receiver and running back during his Wildcat career finished his career with 2,484 passing yards and 13 touchdowns gained 845 rushing yards on 191 carries (4.2 avg) and 13 touchdowns completed 138 passes for 1,328 yards in 2004 while rushing for 297 yards and five touchdowns became the first player in Wildcat history to record a touchdown by rushing, passing and receiving in 2003 named to SEC Academic Honor Roll and was the second SEC player drafted in the 12th round of the MLB draft, again selected by the Minnesota Twins.
