Shamay Tang, M.S., Director, Regulatory Compliance
Ms. Tang is a biochemist with over 20 years of industry experience, with concentration in protein chemistry technology, reagent formulation, instrumentation and technology transfer. She has served in her present position with Altor BioScience since 2005 and previously served as Clinical Affairs Manager for Sunol Molecular. At Altor she oversees regulatory compliance in pre-clinical and clinical development, while at Sunol she managed quality control and GLP documentation and was responsible for the design, implementation and management of Sunol’s clinical trial program. Prior to Sunol, Ms. Tang was R&D Manager for Instrumentation Laboratory, Inc. from 1998 to 2001, and from 1993 to 1998 was a senior scientist in system integration for Dade International. For the previous 15 years, she was a research scientist for American Hospital Supply and Baxter Healthcare. Ms. Tang earned her B.A. degree in chemical engineering at the National University of Taiwan and holds an M.S. degree in chemistry from Drexel University in Philadelphia. |
