Sergio has over 6 years of experience as a financial advisor. He has assisted clients in special situations including acquisitions, asset sales, refinancings, recapitalizations, corporate bankruptcies and other distressed circumstances. Sergio has assisted debtors and various groups of creditors in dozens of Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases as well as out-of-court restructurings. For his clients, Sergio has prepared business plans, performed operational and financial due diligence, provided guidance through liquidity crises, facilitated asset sales, overseen liquidations and assisted in the arrangement of refinancings and recapitalizations. Sergio has worked in a variety of industries, including: insurance, consumer electronics, marine transport, healthcare, retail, apparel, franchising, wholesale distribution, home furnishings, cinema, and internet services. Prior to joining Traxi, Sergio was a manager in the Corporate Advisory Services division of Huron Consulting Group. He also worked as a senior associate in the Corporate Restructuring division of Arthur Andersen LLP. Sergio is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Finance from the University of Scranton, Arthur J. Kania School of Management.
