As manager of an $110 million loan portfolio, IBC International Department Commercial Loan Officer Sergio Gonzalez offers customers a thorough background in all areas of business and real estate lending. Joining IBC in 1986, Gonzalez has earned expertise as a credit analyst, auditing commercial and real estate loans, and as a loan review analyst, supervising a team of credit analysts. His current responsibilities, which include a $40 million deposit portfolio, result in frequent travel within Mexico serving numerous customers and prospecting new business. New business pursuits include domestic customers and prospects in need of IBC International Department services. Gonzalez has also been active in the bank’s significant acquisition program in recent years.His community involvement includes being a member, past director and treasurer of Laredo’s Optimist Club.
