Sejal Desai brings cross-border transaction expertise involving Indian companies to the MHT team. Prior to joining MHT Partners, she was in the venture capital and incubation services business for 8 years. She co-founded STARTech Early Ventures, a Richardson-based, early-stage technology venture firm with incubation facilities. Sejal also served as a Manager in the Corporate Advisory Services group of EY-India for 3 years where she handled in-bound foreign investment transactions, conducted business valuations, due diligence studies and joint venture partner searches for several entities interested in investing in India. She also worked for a Mumbai-based accounting firm where she conducted audit and tax engagements for 3 years. Sejal holds an MBA from UT Dallas and is a Chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds Bachelors in Commerce and Accounting from the Bombay University. |
