Sebastián Jovic is a technical advisor for Argentex. Mr. Jovic works at the Mineral Resources Institute (INREMI), an institute for Patagonian epithermal deposits research, at La Plata University. Working under a four-year scholarship from CONICET, Mr. Jovic is a PhD candidate at La Plata University studying the economic geology of the Pinguino area. He was the recipient of a 2005 Hugh E. McKinstry Student Research Award from the Society of Economic Geologists. This award is granted annually to students whose projects involve the study of mines or ore districts, topical studies toward improved understanding of ore genesis and experimental research with field applications. Mr. Jovic was the only 2005 recipient working on research in Argentina. Mr. Jovic was appointed as a Technical Advisor to Argentex in April of 2005. |
