Mr. Sean Moshir is CEO and chairman of CellTrust Corporation. During the course of his career, Moshir has focused exclusively on strategic security, network, and mobile information management (MIM) software and services that support consumer and business process optimization. Moshir is also a leading authority on IT security, having founded PatchLink Corporation in 1991 and led the Company's aggressive growth strategy. Moshir has led several industry changing technology initiatives including the creation of world's first network management language, which he later sold the trade name and rights to IBM and Novell, respectively. Moreover, he co-developed one of the very first network anti-virus VAPs for Central Point Software, which was eventually acquired by Symantec Corporation. In 2001, Moshir sold a system management software program designed for UNIX/Linux operating systems to IT management provider Altiris. Just a few years later in 2004, Moshir's PatchLink Update was licensed to Novell, which immediately allowed the open source network management leader to extend its ZENworks® Suite offering to partners and customers worldwide. In October 2006, PatchLink bought back the majority of Moshir's PatchLink stock giving him the ability to pursue wireless, mobile phone and other related technology and business ventures. Moshir delivered on his early vision of what enterprise patch management should be years ahead of competitors, rapidly earning him a leadership position in the security management software category, including recognition and honors from industry and business publications such as Network World, Network Computing, Software Magazine, IT Security, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Inc. In 2003, Moshir and PatchLink were honored by the governor of Arizona with the Arizona Technology Council Innovator of the Year Award. As the founder of patch management space, Moshir continues to dedicate his work toward furthering consumer and business security and mobile productivity technologies. He actively participates in global forums, participates on industry trade panels at shows including COMNET, RSA, TechEd, CSI, Gartner Sector5, and BrainShare, and works with various industry associations and analysts to educate and bring to market next generation mobile device technologies. |
