Scott Ungerer, EnerTech Capital Co-Founder and Managing Partner: Scott has been a power and energy sector investor for 12 years. He founded EnerTech Capital in 1996 and is one of the pioneers of energy technology venture investing. He combines extensive industry operations experience with ten years of successful venture investing. Scott’s investing activities focus primarily on opportunities in software and engineered solutions. His specific areas of interest and responsibility include opportunities in electric power generation, transmission, and distribution; power line carrier; natural gas distribution; and combustion engine technologies. Scott was previously a 16-year power industry executive with Atlantic Energy. During his tenure at Atlantic, he rose from the ranks of the junior engineering staff to become President and COO of the company’s non-regulated enterprises and an officer of the parent corporation. While leading the non-regulated division, Atlantic Energy Enterprises (AEE), Scott was responsible for creating three new businesses and managing assets that generated more than $200 million in annual revenue. Scott received a BS in mechanical engineering from Princeton University. |
