Scott is heavily involved in enabling the operational growth of thinkorswim and leads the trading desk. He also serves as director, executive vice president and secretary of subsidiary thinkorswim Advisors, Inc., (formerly known as Sosnoff Sheridan Corporation), an advisor servicing funds for institutional clients since 1995 which also offers access to Red Option, a low cost, innovative option trading subscription service that provides educational direction on trading strategies.
Scott began his career on the Chicago Board of Options Exchange (CBOE) in 1987. While there, he worked as a market maker in the S&P 100 Index pit for nearly two decades.
As an active market participant, Mr. Sheridan is often quoted as an industry and trading expert by the media and frequently appears on the morning television show, First Business.
