With over 17 years of experience and expertise with carrier class telecommunications products, Mr. Messenger leads Atrica's product management and marketing organization. Throughout his career, Mr. Messenger has excelled at leveraging comprehensive integrated marketing programs to successfully launch industry-leading products into the market. Prior to Atrica, Mr. Messenger was Director of Product Marketing and Product Line Management for Cisco System's Optical Business Unit. In this role, Mr. Messenger drove customer, analyst, and investor relations, and directed optical collateral development while driving product requirements and strategy for 12 products across five development centers worldwide. Prior to Cisco, Mr. Messenger led product management at Cerent (which was acquired by Cisco for $6.9 Billion), where he was responsible for product management for the flagship Cerent 454. Mr. Messenger began his career with Rockwell Telecommunications, which was later acquired by Alcatel. There he held senior roles in the areas of new product introduction, field engineering, quality/reliability, and R&D. |
