Scott Leister, CPA, a senior accountant, joined Rea’s Medina office in 2004. He specializes in the areas of tax, consulting and audit work. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Leister served on Active Duty in the U.S. Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, and currently serves in the Ohio Air National Guard in Mansfield, Ohio. While in the Air Force, Mr. Leister earned an associate’s degree in aircraft systems maintenance technology from the Community College of the Air Force. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kent State University where he graduated cum laude. He also holds an MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship from The University of Akron. While attending The University of Akron, Mr. Leister was a graduate assistant and business advisor for the Small Business Development Center at the University of Akron. Additionally, he won second place in the 2006 Annual Business Plan Competition. Mr. Leister is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants. Originally from Maple Heights, Ohio, Mr. Leister currently resides in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, with his wife, Melissa, and their two daughters, Lianna and Lauren. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, home improvement and camping. |
