Scott Hodgins is actively involved with the firm’s benchmarking, strategic planning and technology assessment engagements. In addition, he leads many of the firm's system selection engagements. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Scott spent four years at M ONE, where he developed a strong expertise in the financial outsourcing and software markets. Prior to that, Scott was Community Bank Market Manager at Sheshunoff Information Services. Scott began his career as a national bank examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Scott is a contributing author to Cornerstone’s benchmarking and best practices publications: The Mid-Size Bank Study 2002, The Cornerstone Report: Benchmarks and Best Practices for Mid-Size Banks 2003 and 2005 and The Cornerstone Report: Benchmarks and Best Practices for Credit Unions 2006. Scott maintains a keen awareness of developments in the vendor community, and he frequently demonstrates this knowledge in articles written for GonzoBanker and CUES Tech Port and through presentations to trade association conferences, including BAI's SmartTactics Conference for Profitable Retail Delivery. Scott has been quoted in numerous industry publications, including American Banker, Independent Banker and Bank Technology News. He has been published in Callahan's 2004 Credit Union Technology Survey, Credit Union Management (CUES) and Credit Union Magazine (CUNA). Scott holds an MBA in Finance from Texas Tech University and a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. |
