Scott Cerasoli, founder of Vision Technology Services, LLC, is the firm's President and CEO. Scott's strong desire to form an information technology services organization that would deliver outstanding service, the highest level of quality, and tremendous value to clients and employees alike, greatly influenced the decision to launch the company in the spring of 2001. With over 14 years staffing industry experience with a concentration in the information technology arena since 1992, Scott's market knowledge and experience provided the confidence necessary to move forward despite a sagging economy. Prior to founding Vision, Scott was Managing Director for Metro Information Services, a publicly traded $300 million information technology company. Scott's career with that organization began in 1997, when he joined a regional, vertical growth information technology project and services organization that was purchased by Metro Information Services in 1999. As Vice President of Sales, Scott opened the Baltimore division and was ultimately responsible for driving sales and managing large partnerships. Scott developed a strong team and created a culture to which people were drawn. Scott drove the Baltimore Division's annualized revenue from $500K in 1997, to $26M by 2001. During his tenure with Metro Information Services, Scott earned numerous awards including President's Leadership Awards for 'Director Leadership' and 'Business Development Excellence.' In the summer of 2001, Metro's Baltimore Division earned the top spot in The Baltimore Business Journal's ranking of the area's largest IT Consulting Firms. Today, Scott applies the same focus to Vision, and to date the firm has realized great success. Scott is active in the technology industry and participates in many conferences and educational programs. He resides in Phoenix, Maryland with his wife and two children. Scott enjoys time with family and friends as well as most sports, especially golf. |
