Scott co-founded Artisan Components in 1991 and served as Artisan's CTO for 13 years before it was acquired by ARM for approximately $1 billion. As Artisan's CTO, Scott led successful teams in many branches of the company. Most notable were his contributions to physical technology and process automation. Scott built strong collections of both physical libraries and physical IP at Artisan. He also created and implemented many of the automation processes for which Artisan is well-known. Prior to co-founding Artisan, Scott managed the library group at Silicon Compilers. |
