Scott Ackerman comes to Knowledge Consulting Group with over 14 years of project management, operations, development, and technical experience in systems design and integration projects. Prior to joining KCG, Scott served as the Practice Director for CIBER, Inc., where he was responsible for business development, client relationships, contract management, personnel management and the financial success of seven accounts, consisting of more than 60 employees and an annual run rate of $8.25M. Prior to CIBER, Scott was an Associate Partner/Account Manager for Business Impact Systems, Inc (later acquired by CIBER, Inc.). For BIS, Scott managed the American Red Cross (ARC) account and served as the on-site Operations Manager for the first FDA-regulated nationwide blood tracking system, National Biomedical Computer System (NBCS). In his capacity as BIS Account Manager, Scott grew the ARC account 100% to an annual run rate of $3M+.
In his role as Vice President of Information Assurance Services - Federal, Scott is responsible for all aspects of managing and delivering KCG's information assurance professional services in the Federal space, as well as managing KCG's technical alliances.
Scott is a graduate of James Madison University (JMU) and started his career at American Management Systems, where he worked for 3 years as a programmer/analyst.
