Scott Harris serves as Executive Vice President and Co-Managing Director in the firm’s St. Louis, Missouri office. Additionally, he has held management positions at Pet Inc. (now General Mills), Citibank, and Huttig Building Products. His extensive experience in significant corporate roles equips him to provide counsel and direction from a senior management perspective. His diverse background includes experience in turnarounds, start-ups, acquisitions, and system-wide process improvements, as well as experience in multiple product categories, distribution channels, and retail formats. Mr. Harris focuses on conducting searches at the C-level and Vice President/Director level across all functional disciplines and industries. He is an active member of DHR’s Industrial Practice Group, Consumer & Retail Practice Group, and Diversity Practice Group. Mr. Harris was born in Boston and raised in St. Louis. He has had active leadership roles in a number of professional and charitable organizations over the years. He is currently serving a 3rd term on the John Burroughs School Board where he co-chairs the Diversity Committee, and he is actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America as a Cub Scout Pack Leader. He and his wife, Michelle, have a daughter and a son, ages 13 and 10. Mr. Harris is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt. He earned a BA from Brown University and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
