Evans has more than 20 years of banking experience with BB&T. He graduated from the Management Development Program in 1985. His previous responsibilities included business services officer Lexington N.C.; regional credit officer Raleigh N.C.; business services manager Smithfield N.C.; city executive Statesville N.C.; and retail banking manager Pinehurst. He was named as the Upstate Regional President in 2005.
