Experience:
Scott Pierpont focuses on banking and finance. His structured finance experience includes collateralized debt obligations, project finance (power, gas and industrial), and synthetic and leveraged leasing. His experience also includes bank lending; corporate restructuring and workouts; and domestic and international project development, venture capital and joint venture arrangements.
Scott represents banks, financial institutions, issuers, borrowers and sponsors. With respect to CDO transactions, he represents sponsors, collateral managers and arrangers, most frequently as "lead" transaction counsel.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Scott worked at the T.I.C. Group and related entities in Seattle (1992-1998).
