With more than 12 years of experience in business journalism, financial services and corporate communications, Scott is a key agency resource on media relations as well as investor relations. In addition to helping clients leverage coverage in the business and trade media to generate awareness and build credibility, Scott provides investor relations counsel and tactical support to clients in a variety of industries, including biotechnology, IT services and semiconductors. He previously served as director of corporate communications for Dalbar, Inc., a financial services research firm based in Boston. Prior to that, Scott covered the tobacco industry as a business reporter for the News & Record in Greensboro, N.C., where he broke national stories on litigation between cigarette makers and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He also spent six years as a reporter in Florida and Ohio for the Gannett newspaper chain, where he earned honors for investigative and feature stories. Scott holds a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. |
