Scott Mellen has been President of wTe Corporation since 2002. Since Scott assumed this role, wTe has more than doubled in size through internal growth initiatives, acquisitions and improving market conditions. Scott initially joined wTe in 1994 as Vice-President, Finance, and became Chief Financial Officer in 1995. He assumed operating responsibility for the Metals Division in 1998, and in 2000 was named Chief Operating Officer. Prior to wTe, Scott was a founder of Mellen Associates, a consulting and development company focused on the environmental sector. He also worked for both Shawmut Bank and Morgan Stanley & Company, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Scott received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. |
