Current responsibility
Scott is an actuary with the Property and Casualty practice in the Denver office of Milliman. He has been with the firm since 1997.
Experience
Scott has a wide range of experience in the property and casualty insurance industries in the US as well as the major Latin American countries. His work experience includes appraisal and due diligence of insurance companies related to merger and acquisition activity, pricing, loss reserving, cash-flow testing, reserve adequacy testing, and reinsurance analysis.
Scott has been involved in reserving and ratemaking for primary insurance companies, reinsurance companies, state funds, governmental entities, self-insured groups, and individual self-insured employers. Other projects have included financial analysis and modeling and managed care valuation.
Prior to joining Milliman, Scott worked for CNA Insurance Companies, where he was responsible for the ratemaking of all commercial coverages, including professional liability, general liability, workers' compensation, and property insurance for the dental, optometric, and other medical lines of business for all states.
