Scott A. Leaman is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and is resident in the Florham Park office. Scott has experience handling various aspects of complex commercial litigation. Most recently, his work on pharmaceutical products liability cases has encompassed everything from responding to pleadings, managing discovery issues, and the administration and processing of dismissals and settlements.
Prior to joining the firm, Scott served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stanley S. Brotman, Senior District Court Judge, United States District Court for the District of N.J. During his clerkship, Scott worked on a variety of complex civil litigation matters, including a number of multiparty lawsuits.
In General. Scott obtained both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Notre Dame. He received his bachelor's degree in 1998, graduating magna cum laude, and his J.D. in 2004. During law school, Scott was selected for the Board of the Moot Court Appellate Team. He garnered extensive practical trial experience through an externship with the Indiana Office of the Public Defender.
Before attending Notre Dame Law School, Scott worked for ADP, Inc. in Parsippany, NJ as a human resources generalist.
Scott is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. |
