Scott Henry is executive vice president and chief information officer. He joined the company in February 2005.
Prior to joining Arbitron, Scott held senior executive positions with several high-technology start-up companies, including E5 Systems, Vitria Technology and TalkingNets. From 1994 to 2000, Scott held executive positions with Verizon Communications, overseeing initiatives that included new billing systems, integrated customer solutions applications, and business process reengineering, as well as responsibility for technical talent acquisition for all of Verizon’s IT organization.
Scott held senior positions in the consulting practices of Utilities and Telecommunications at both Price Waterhouse (1993-1994) and Andersen Consulting (1985-1993). Scott started his career as an economist and systems analyst at the U.S. Department of Labor.
Scott earned a B.S. in economics from William & Mary College and did graduate work at George Mason University. Scott lives in McLean, VA, and works in the Columbia, MD, office.
