Saul Solomon Chairman, CEO and President of Bridgestone Bandag, LLC (Bandag)
and Executive Vice President Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc.
Saul A. Solomon has served as Chairman, CEO and President of Bandag since June 1, 2007, having previously led the transition team during Bridgestone Americas’ 2007 merger with Bandag, Incorporated. Through his leadership, the team successfully brought the two companies together under the new name, Bridgestone Bandag, LLC. Solomon took on his current role following completion of the merger.
In 1993, Solomon joined Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc. as a Senior Counsel and later Division General Counsel, Corporate and International. In 1997, he assumed the role of Division Vice President-Labor Relations. Solomon became Vice President and General Counsel of Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc. in 2000.
Solomon serves on several boards, including: Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc.; Bridgestone Bandag, LLC; Bridgestone Firestone Diversified Products; and the Bridgestone Americas Teammate Assistance Fund.
Solomon holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the University of North Carolina.
He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association. He is also a board member of the United Way of Muscatine, Iowa. |
