Satish Deshpande, a Metallurgical Engineer from BHU-IT, Varanasi and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad has 16 years of working experience in manufacturing companies. Before joining New Vernon, he was responsible for Indian operations of a leading US distributor of electrical hardware, Sigma Electric (NC, USA). There he recently led a team for acquisition of additional $20Mn business and successfully transitioned the manufacturing to India. Earlier Satish worked as CEO of Insulation Division of Sahney Kirkwood, a leader in manufacture of high voltage mica based electrical insulation. Satish has completed his second MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He has received training from GE Power Systems as Green Belt Six Sigma. |
