Sarah E. Bates has served as in house Intellectual Property Counsel for Inhibitex since 1999. From 1988 through 1998 she served as counsel for the Blood Substitutes, Gene Therapy, Venture Technologies, Materials and Membranes and Fenwal divisions of Baxter Healthcare Corporation. From 1984 to 1988 she was an associate in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis doing primarily patent litigation. Her J.D. is from the University of San Francisco and she has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Connecticut. Ms. Bates is also a registered patent attorney. |
