An obsessed writer and passionate activist, Sara has fought injustice since her first demonstration at age ten. A YN member since 2003, she's also interned with NARAL, Jobs with Justice and other organizations, managed a restaurant, taught Romany children in Spain, and debated across the Midwest and the East Coast through NEDA. Sara is a graduate student at Southeast Missouri State University and volunteers with many organizations, with a current focus on mentoring and human rights. Married to her high school sweetheart and mother to a very tenacious toddler, she's big on family, earth spirituality, getting artsy and being as ambitious as possible. |
