Sangeeta, an experienced member of the Florida Bar and court system, devotes a significant amount of her practice to the defense of professional malpractice claims, employment law, general casualty claims, and claims involving toxic mold (or similar) issues.
In 1994 Sangeeta graduated from the University of South Florida earning her B.A. She then went on to earn her J.D. from Southern Illinois University in 1997. Sangeeta is admitted to practice in Illinois and Florida. She gained valuable trial experience serving as an Assistant State Attorney in Sangamon County, Illinois, and Hillsborough County, Florida, prosecuting various felony cases. She also sharpened her research and writing skills while serving as a Florida Assistant Attorney General.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Sangeeta was a prosecutor in the White Collar Special Prosecutions Unit at Hillsborough County, Florida State Attorney's Office. There she prosecuted complex embezzlement, bank, and mortgage fraud cases.
When not practicing law, Sangeeta is active in many professional and community service positions. She is a member of the Legal Needs of Children Committee for the Florida Bar Association, and she volunteers for service with the Brandon Area Youth Soccer League and the McFarlane Park P.T.A. |
