Samuel W. Bartholomew Jr. became a member of the Union Planters Board of Directors in 2001. He serves as chairman and chief executive officer of Stokes Bartholomew Evans & Petree, P.A., a statewide law firm based in Nashville. He is an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management, teaching Business Law and Regulated Industries.
