Sam Ticknor's career has spanned investment banking, consulting, and commercial banking. He brings to Corporate Fuel unique experience, allowing him to cover markets both regionally, with a particular emphasis on the Upstate New York market, and internationally, given his international investment banking background.
Mr. Ticknor was previously with Bergen Capital, a BB&T Corporate Affiliate, where he was co-head of the private placement group. He was also a Senior Vice President at the Provident Group, an investment banking boutique based in New York City. Mr. Ticknor also had an 8-year career with International Executive Service Corps (IESC), an international consulting company funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), where he was promoted to Vice President. He started his career at M&T Bank in Buffalo, NY. He has a BA degree in Economics from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Rochester, William E. Simon Graduate School of Business. He holds the NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Mr. Ticknor is a member of the Upstate Venture Association of New York and is a Director of Turn A Page, a 501(c)(3) corporation that encourages the youth in New Jersey to read. He has also been a Member of the Alumni Advisory Council at the University of Rochester, William E. Simon Graduate School of Business. |
