Mr. Scott served as president and chief operating officer of the Company since 1997. Prior thereto, he was president of CPC International Inc.’s Bestfoods division worldwide corn refining business from 1995 to 1997 and president of its North American corn refining business from 1989 to 1997. He was elected a vice president of CPC International Inc. in 1991. He is also a director of Motorola, Inc., the Bank of New York, ACCION International, INROADS Chicago, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the Economic Club of Chicago and is a trustee of the Conference Board. He is the Chairman of the compensation and leadership committee of Motorola, Inc.’s board of directors.
