Samuel B. Ross Samuel B. Ross is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SBR, Inc. (SBR). SBR is a building products company which is engaged in the manufacture, sale, and delivery of residential and commercial windows, acrylic block windows, urethane moldings, and metal coatings. Manufacturing facilities are located in West Virginia, Illinois, California, Ohio, Georgia and Yantai, China. Another subsidiary of SBR, Woodcraft Supply Corporation (Woodcraft), is the nation’s leader in selling quality woodworking tools, equipment and supplies to woodworking craftsmen. Woodcraft operates a chain of 20 retail stores throughout the United States and in addition, offers its products though direct mail order catalogues and the Internet through its website. SBR has achieved significant growth while consistently achieving average returns on equity in excess of 20%. Prior to founding SBR, Mr. Ross was a management consultant with Ernst & Young, formerly Arthur Young and Company. Mr. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University and a MBA from the University of Washington. |
