Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Bhargava was an Associate focused on leveraged buyout investments at Bain Capital, LLC, a Boston-based private equity firm. While at Bain Capital, he worked on transactions with Datek, Island, Shoppers Drug Mart and SigmaKalon. Previously, he was an Associate in the buyout fund at Advent International Corporation, a global private equity firm. Before Advent, Mr. Bhargava was at McKinsey & Company where he consulted on various strategic and operational issues for several Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Bhargava received his M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School and graduated from Harvard University, cum laude, with a degree in biology. |
