Sam graduated with a PhD in Organic Chemistry from New York State University at Buffalo in 1990. After his PhD, Sam had his postdoctoral training in John Hopkins University for two years. Sam is extensively proficient in chemical synthesis and pharmaceutical analysis. He worked for Hoffmain-La Roche and Duramed Pharmaceuticals, Inc (now Barr Laboratories) for over ten years as Principal Scientist and Director of Analytical R&D, and has also worked for Luye Pharmaceutical (USA) for four years as Vice President. Sam led the analytical research and development of API and formulation for nearly thirty NDAs and ANDAs. Sam’s finesse and unique understanding on analytical method development, method validation, API and formulation stability study design and testing, quality management, and cGMP regulation and quality system managing has made him an invaluable asset to AustarPharma. |
