Sam is the Director of Research for Carilion Health System. He has extensive experience with biomedical startup companies and is extremely knowledgeable about university tech transfer processes and in-licensing from academic institutions. Sam has licensed 10 technologies from university partners. Sam has a B.S. in Microbiology and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Clemson University. He is a member of the Licensing Executives Society and the Association of University Technology Managers. |
