Sally Jenkins is a native of North Carolina. She graduated from Western Carolina with a Masters of Science degree in Human Resources Development with a concentration in counseling. Sally is licensed in the State of North Carolina as a Clinical Addiction Specialist. Having been through her own personal struggle as a teen she got clean and sober at the age of 16. Sally has dedicated her time and education to helping others with substance abuse issues. Right out of undergraduate school she worked in a detox facility getting a first hand education in substance abuse. After going back to graduate school she has work in just about every setting there is in the substance abuse field. Sally had the good fortune to be asked to spending a summer as a contract employee at SUWS of the Carolinas. She became totally enamored with wilderness therapy. Sally has combined her substance abuse expertise and her love of the wilderness setting into a very unique style. Sally has recently come to Phoenix as the Program Manager. Her knowledge of substance abuse and team approach will provide consistency and leadership to the already incredible Phoenix team, many of which have been here since the doors opened. Sally greatest passion is her family. Her husband Mark, step-sons Taylor and Alex and her son Penn are her heart. When you walk in Sally’s office the first thing you see are their pictures. Her free time is spent enjoying her family. |
