Sagi Schliesser joined Sapiens as VP R&D in July 2007. Prior to joining Sapiens, from Jan. 2001 till May 2007, Mr. Schliesser served as VP R&D and CTO of IDIT Technologies Ltd., a global provider of insurance software solutions. Prior to that, Mr. Schliesser was one of the founders of WWCOM, a startup company focused on B2B enablement using an ECU (Electronic Commerce Utility) product and served as its Director of Technology and Director of Development, from March 1999 till Jan 2001. During his service in the Israeli Defense Forces, Mr. Schliesser led several computer projects and was a commander in the IDF's Computer Training School. Mr. Schliesser has a B.A. degree in Computer Science and Psychology from Tel Aviv University with honors, where he also studied for a Master's degree in Psycho-Biology. Mr. Schliesser is currently studying for a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzlia.
