Mr. Metcalf has fifteen-plus years of experience in the industrial information systems consulting and software development arenas. His focus has been on full lifecycle consulting for large automation/information systems projects. As a result, he is especially strong in performing complex site needs analysis, technology assessment, detailed systems design and documentation, implementation management/technical leadership and client relationship management. Mr. Metcalf has performed these tasks primarily within the refining, petrochemical, and consumer product industries. Mr. Metcalf brings specific experience in the areas of SPC techniques and six sigma initiatives, business process automation, structured analysis techniques, production accounting, complex systems integration, and the specific software development management skills to support these efforts. Mr. Metcalf holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado. He previously worked at several entrepreneurial startups in the process automation field as well as Setpoint and SHL Systemhouse. Mr. Metcalf is a co-founder of Ellipsys. |
