Ryan P. Mulvaney was graduated from Seton Hall University in 1996 and Seton Hall University School of Law in 2002. In 1999, Mr. Mulvaney served as a judicial intern to then-United States Magistrate Judge Dennis M. Cavanaugh of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. During 2002-03, Mr. Mulvaney served as law clerk to United States District Judge Cavanaugh. In 2002, Mr. Mulvaney was admitted to the bars of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Mulvaney is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Special Committee on Election Law, a voting member of the Special Committee on Election Law’s five-member Subcommittee on Legislation, which reviews and formulates positions on pending legislation concerning and affecting election law, and has served on Election Day legal teams for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee and for Democratic gubernatorial, legislative and municipal candidates. Mr. Mulvaney is also an active member of the New Jersey and New York State Bar Associations’ Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law sections; the Essex County Bar Association; and the Sports Lawyers Association.
Mr. Mulvaney provided the research for an article that addressed the potential liability of corporate officers and directors of environmental companies pursuant to various state and federal environmental statues. Mr. Mulvaney practices in the areas of commercial litigation, contract disputes, white collar criminal investigations and corporate compliance, professional liability litigation, local government law, surety and construction, election law, and employment litigation in the area of non-competition disputes. |
