Ryan Cantrell maintains a general litigation practice with an emphasis on governmental defense, fraud and complex commercial litigation involving companies in the energy industry. In his governmental defense practice, Mr. Cantrell represents state and local governmental entities, such as school districts, police and fire departments, and drainage districts in lawsuits ranging from employment discrimination to excessive force. In his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Cantrell has participated in a wide variety of cases including trademark infringement, civil fraud, and construction litigation. He has participated in several multimillion dollar commercial arbitrations, including drafting an arbitration brief in a pipeline construction case that led to a $3.2M multi-million dollar award in favor of the client. |
