Ruth joined the hospital’s staff in May, 1970, and has been a member of the Medical Staff Services team since January, 2005.
A few of her responsibilities include:
Oversight for the credentialing and privileging of over 1,100 physicians, dentists, and podiatrists on the Medical Staff and over 450 members of the Allied Health Staff.
Oversight for VeriQuaL, the for-profit credentialing and privileging service.
Support to Medical Staff leadership and oversight for the administrative support for various Medical Staff functions and committees, including Bylaws, General Medical Staff, and Medical Executive Committee.
Assure compliance with JCAHO, the Department of Health, and other regulatory agencies as they pertain to credentialing and privileging of practitioners.
