Ruth Barone is an Associate at Cogent Valuation in the Los Angeles Office. She has been with the firm since 2000, and has been involved in almost 200 valuation engagements involving companies of various sizes. The purposes for such engagements include estate and tax planning, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) transactions, and mergers and acquisitions, among others.
Ms. Barone has participated in the valuation of companies in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, restaurant, medical device, entertainment, printing, retail, wholesale, computer hardware and software, Internet, professional services, real estate development, food and beverage, consumer products and miscellaneous manufacturing industries. In addition, she has been involved in either valuing or determining the appropriate royalty rate for various intellectual property assets.
Ms. Barone holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge, with a concentration in Finance. |
