Russell brings a broad range of financial services experience to the Challenger team from private equity to investment banking to credit analysis. Previously, Russell served as a private equity associate for Cambridge Capital Partners, where he performed valuation analysis, financial modeling, company due diligence and industry research for direct investments domestically and in Asia for mid-market companies in niche manufacturing, distribution industries and differentiated business services. Russell also served as an investment banking coverage analyst for food and agribusiness for BMO Capital Markets in Chicago, participating in M&A transactions, public and private debt placements, and equity financings for mid-cap companies. Russell started his career in Dallas as a credit analyst for Washington Mutual Bank. Russell has a master of business administration degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Southern Methodist University. |
