Mr. Owens has significant trial experience as solo or first-chair counsel in state and federal courts. He enjoys a successful appellate practice, including having argued and won appeal to the Georgia Supreme Court. Mr. Owens handles a variety of construction-related matters, including contract drafting, negotiation and disputes, intellectual property and defect claims. He represents owners, contractors, subcontractors and architects. He also represents clients in intellectual property and entertainment matters, including copyright and trademark interests in architectural, musical, and digital works. He has represented artists in negotiation of recording and publishing contracts, including works on major label albums.
